After high school I went to Long Beach State and earned my BS Degree in Civil Engineering. Joined the US Air Force and became a pilot. Flew C-7A Caribou twin engine transport in Vietnam (1970). Left Air Force in 1973 and went to work for the US Bureau of Reclamation in Sacramento as a Design Civil Engineer. Retired in December 2000. Now volunteer at the Aerospace Museum of California as Manager of the Flight Zone Equipment (I manage the computer flight simulators).
